An event starts as a draft, opens to participants when you publish it, and ends in two steps: the event end and, after it, the page end. The status chip on the event card and in the event header shows the current stage, and the Events list has matching All, Ongoing, Upcoming, Ended, and Draft tabs.

Status

What publishing changes

Publishing opens the event page at the site address. The overview becomes a dashboard with the page link and the plan status, Billing appears in the event sidebar, the site address locks, and the plan can only move from Chat to Meet & AI. The steps are in Publish the event page.

Unpublishing

Unpublish in Publishing asks Unpublish this event? and shows Participants lose access to the event page until you publish again. While the page is open, it adds that billing continues until the page end.

Event end and page end

The last billing period ends at the page end. See Billing.

What locks after the event ends

Rejecting and removing participants and sending announcements still work.

What locks after the page ends

Canceling meetings, deleting drafts, and ending batch mode still work.
