Availability tells other participants when they can request a meeting with you. By default you’re available for every meeting hour the host has set, so you only need this panel to block a date or limit it to specific times. It’s part of events with meetings (Meet & AI).
Availability is open to approved participants while the event still accepts meeting requests. Times follow the event time zone, which appears next to the title.
1

Open Availability

On the event home, select the Availability row under your name. It reads All hours until you change a date, then shows how many dates you’ve set. Availability is also at the top of My schedule and in the account menu.
2

Choose a mode for each date

Every date with meeting hours is listed with those hours underneath. Choose one of three modes:
  • All hours: available for all the meeting hours. This is the default.
  • Custom: available only during the time ranges you add.
  • Unavailable: no meeting requests for that date.
3

Add time ranges

Switching to Custom adds a first range that matches the meeting hours. Adjust the start and end in 24-hour time. Add time range adds another range that starts where the last one ends, and the trash icon removes a range.A range is saved only when the end is later than the start and it doesn’t overlap another range on the same date. Ranges may touch. Times outside the meeting hours show Times outside meeting hours won’t be used. They’re kept, but nobody can request those slots.
4

Save

Select Save. The panel closes and the summary on the event home updates. Cancel discards your changes. Save stays disabled while a range still has an error.

What changes for others

  • When another participant requests a meeting with you, they can choose only slots that fall within both your availability and theirs, inside the meeting hours.
  • A date set to Unavailable offers no slots at all. On a Custom date, only your ranges do.

Troubleshooting

This event has no dates you can set availability for. Contact the host.
Part of the range lies outside the hours shown under the date. You can still save it, and only the part inside the meeting hours counts. Shorten the range to clear the warning.
The host changed the meeting hours while you had the panel open. Refresh the page and set each date again.
