# My events

> Reference for My events and the account menu: upcoming and past events, status chips, when meeting requests close, and one sign-in for every event page.

**My events** lists the events you've joined or registered for. Each card opens that event's page. Open **My events** from the account menu on any event page. If you're signed out, the page shows **Participant sign-in** first. Enter your email address and the code sent to it. One sign-in covers every event page and **My events**, so opening another event doesn't ask for a code again.

## Sections and chips

| What you see | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Upcoming events** | Events that haven't ended, plus ended events that still accept meeting requests (for participants who entered). Sorted by start date. |
| **Past events** | Events that have ended. The section appears only when you have one, newest first. |
| **Live** | The event is in progress. |
| **Ended** | The event is over, but its page still accepts meeting requests. A line under the chip shows when they close, in the event's time zone. |
| **Host** | You're a member of the organization hosting the event. |
| **Awaiting approval** | The host hasn't reviewed your registration yet. |
| **Not approved** | The event ended before your registration was approved. Listed under **Past events**. |

If you have no events, the page shows **No events yet**. When only past events remain, **No upcoming events** appears in place of the upcoming list, with **Past events** underneath.

## Account menu

The avatar in the top-right corner of an event page opens the account menu. Which entries appear depends on your status in that event.

| Entry | When it appears | What it does |
| - | - | - |
| **Profile** | Once you've registered or accepted an invitation, including while awaiting approval | Opens your [profile](/participant/profile) |
| **Availability** | For approved participants in events with meetings (Meet & AI), while meeting requests are open | Opens the [availability](/participant/availability) panel over the current screen |
| **Email notifications** | After you've entered the event | Opens [Email notifications](/participant/notifications) |
| **My events** | On every event page | Opens this page |
| **Language** | Always | Switches between English, Korean, and Japanese |
| **Sign out** | Always | Signs you out |

On **My events** itself, the menu shows only your email and **Sign out**. The language switch is in the page footer.

Changing the language saves the choice to your account, and emails from events are sent in that language. **Sign out** signs you out of every event page.

## Troubleshooting

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="No events yet, although I joined an event">
    You may be signed in with a different email address than the one the host
    has for you. Select **Sign out**, then sign in with that address.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="An ended event is still under Upcoming events">
    The event is over, but its meeting request period hasn't closed. The card
    carries the **Ended** chip and the closing date and time. Once requests
    close, the event moves to **Past events**.
